Hey there, I’m so excited to welcome you into our home and give you a little Christmas home tour!

If you’re new here, my name is Kimberly, my family and I live in sunny Arizona. I’m addicted to transforming spaces and making them feel warm and cozy and want to help you do the same.

My husband and I have been slowly DIYing our way through our builder-grade home one room at a time.

Welcome to the first room as you walk into our home. This room is looking quite different from last Christmas.

The board & batten wall was the latest update we made to this room along with replacing the carpet with the LVP flooring you see. You can read more here on the accent wall we created!

I wanted to keep this room neutral, but warm and inviting at the same time. The two little Christmas trees you see I found at Target last year for less than $10. You’ll find out real quickly that Target is one of my favorite stores!

The wreath is actually not a wreath, it was a garland I found at Target for $10 that I just wrapped in a circle to look like a wreath. I attached it to the blanket ladder with some twine. Easy peasy!

When I bought the garland I wasn’t sure where or how I would use it, but it worked out perfect for this space.

I added fairy twinkle lights that are on a timer for added warmth & coziness. It looks so pretty at night.

Christmas Entryway

I feel like my theme this year is keeping things simple. The white flowers in the vases, I found at Michaels for under $6. Michaels is another one of my favorite stores for finding home decor and accents without spending a fortune.

Yes, I added twinkle lights here too! 😂 I pretty much sprinkled them ALL over this year. It really does give such a cozy feel at night.

Lights on a timer are life-changing!! Ha, ok maybe that’s a little dramatic, but really these twinkle lights with a timer are a must. I’ll link them for you here.

Christmas Dining Area

Keeping with the simple and neutral theme I found these soft fuzzy throw pillows at HomeGoods for $19. Christmas decor doesn’t always have to be red, green, or full of color.

The added bonus with these pillows is I’ll be able to continue using them after the holidays or repurpose them somewhere else in the house.

Centerpieces are always a hard thing for me to come up with. I do love how this one came together though. What I repurposed and already had was the white platter, Christmas garland, and candle chargers that I spray painted white.

I found the wooden Christmas tree at Hobby Lobby for $8 and purchased the twinkle lights and batterie-operated candles. I’ll link the candles for you here. I love these candles as they are on a timer and you can choose how many hours.

Christmas Kitchen

I found this Joy sign at Hobby Lobby for $15 and thought it would look nice above the cabinets.

I’m most excited about this runner that I found at Target! Wait for it……it was $20, like what!!

This runner has a rubber back so there’s no slipping and it stays in place perfectly. I absolutely love the colors and how it adds a splash of color to the kitchen.

I really like this lantern and the distressing on it. It fits in year-round depending on how I style it. For Christmas, I just added a little garland and a timed candle I had on hand.

Christmas Coffee Bar Area

I chose to keep things very neutral with the coffee bar this Christmas. I started to decorate it with more color and I just wasn’t feeling it this year.

Christmas Decorated Staircase

This year I tried something new and decorated our staircase with dried orange garland. I love the look of natural elements and the oranges bring such a pretty color to the space.

Christmas Living Room

This year is a little different than last year in this room. This Christmas we have a mantle to hang the kid’s stockings on! 💕

My husband and I started the fireplace and built-in DIY project a month before Christmas last year.

We managed to have the fireplace insert in and working for Christmas day so, that was pretty exciting.

Keeping that simple neutral look I ordered new white stockings for the mantle. They were exactly the look I was going for. You can check them out here stocking set with pom-poms & stocking set with rhombus texture.

Have you seen all the posts with wooden name tags for the stockings? I love them but I was running out of time. So, I decided to go to Hobby Lobby to see if I could find something that would work for this year.

Score, I found chalkboard tags for $.99 each and a gold chalkboard pen to write the kids’ names on. I like how they look and the pop of black is nice too.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell in this photo I added fairy twinkle lights to the garland on the mantle. It looks really pretty at night. If you head over to my Instagram I shared how it looks in a reel.
